A few of the group who felt ok about being in a photo - the group has Scorpio rising, so we did quite well!

Thank you for visiting our site!

Welcome to the Exeter Astrology Group website. We have re-designed our site to make it more interactive and user-friendly. We hope that you enjoy your visit.

About the Group

The group is run by its members and anyone with an interest in astrology can participate. New members and beginners are very welcome! The emphasis of the group is on social interaction. We want to bring astrologers of all levels of experience together for friendship, mutual support and friendly and informative discussion. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner :)

To become a full member of the Group, there is annual charge of £5.00, payable in June each year, at the same time as the AGM. This entitles you to voting rights at the AGM, plus benefits from time to time during the year.

Monthly Meetings

The EAG meets at the Friends' Meeting House in central Exeter each month (except August). We generally meet on the second Sunday afternoon in the month. Meetings start at 2.30pm and run until around 5.30pm. The cost per month is £5.00 non-members or £3.00 members to cover room hire, tea and coffee, etc.

Meetings start with a talk on the topic advertised. Most of the talks are by group members, with occasional outside speakers.

After tea break we move into smaller groups to look at charts more closely. The groups vary according to what everyone wants, sometimes a small group looking at each others' charts, a horary group and perhaps another group might want to look at mundane charts. It's very flexible.

Some of the group then move on to the George (Wetherspoons) in South Street, just around the corner, after the meeting, for chat and astrotalk.

In addition, we meet in between the monthly talks, for a social get-together at the George Pub (Wetherspoons), down at the bottom of South Street, Exeter. This is from 5.30pm onwards on the last Sunday evening in the month. Please meet in the bar.

We have group outings - for example when Plymouth Astrology Group have had their seminars, outings and workshops, or when we travel to Bath for a CPA seminar or for the Sophia Centre Conference.

We have close connections with the lovely people at Cornwall and Plymouth Astrology Groups. EAG, CAG and PAG often get together when there is a day seminar in Exeter or Saltash, and for some outings. These connections look to be getting stronger in the future.

Annual Seminar
Our Annual Seminar 2013, with Nick Campion

We also hold a yearly all-day seminar, generally in March or April when we bring in a speaker from outside. In the past we've had Melanie Reinhart, Maggie Hyde, Bernadette Brady and Nick Campion and the days have been very well received.

These day-seminars have also been a great chance to catch up with friends from further afield because they draw greater numbers.

Check the diary page for all upcoming events!
